Active MemberMembership is available to any individual who is employed as a medical staff services professional, managed care, group practice professionals, or who is involved with the administrative functions of the Medical Staff Services area. It is recommended that Active members be members of the National Association Medical Staff Services. Active members shall be eligible to vote.
Affiliate MemberAffiliate members shall consist of former active members who no longer fulfill the active criteria, and do not meet criteria for active membership, but who support the Chapter; or full time students enrolled in a health-related field. Affiliate members pay dues but are not eligible to vote or hold office; however, they may serve in an advisory position.
Honorary MemberMembership is available by invitation to individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the goals of this association by virtue of their interest and position, or at the time of retirement are active members of the association and have worked in the medical staff services field for a minimum of at least twenty years. Honorary members shall not be eligible to vote, hold office, or pay dues.
